Before scoping land surveying for a Bellevue development project, confirm the approval path, the decisions the survey must support, the mapping limits, the records available, and the deliverables required by the design team. Bellevue publishes different plan and document resources for different project types, so the right scope begins with the actual application and site conditions.

Start with the project and approval path

“A survey for a permit” is usually too vague for a reliable scope. The needs of a residential addition, commercial redevelopment, land-use application, short plat, right-of-way improvement, or civil plan set can differ substantially.

6. The project schedule and review sequence

Share the date of the next decision, not simply the desired survey date. The surveyor can then plan research, fieldwork, office processing, review, and delivery around the milestone. If the project will need later staking, as-builts, or additional mapping, identify that possibility early so control and file organization can support the next phase.

  • Project address and parcel numbers.
  • Project type, proposed use, and current design phase.

  • Current title report, deeds, easements, plats, and previous surveys.
